Biotin shake at home | DIY biotin shake

Biotin supplements are widely available in the market but they have many side effects. Since they bring about hormonal changes,biotin supplements can cause extreme acne,irregular menstrual cycle,weight gain etc.
As you all know, biotin or vitamin b7 is very important for the health and appearance of the hair. Lack of biotin can make the hair brittle and dry. It is very essential for thicker hair, nails and beautiful skin.If you aren’t getting enough biotin, you may experience hair loss or a scaly red rash. However, a deficiency is rare.
But, to maintain healthy and thick hair and beautiful skin biotin is must.

Biotin for healthy hair

So,here is a yummy DIY Biotin Shake for beautiful hair and skin.


  • 1 banana.
  • 2-3 strawberries.
  • 3-4 walnuts
  • 6-7 almonds
  • 1 tbsp seed mix ( flax seeds,sunflower seeds,hemp seeds,watermelon seeds. You get this mix seeds in any grocery/general shop).
  • Apricots (fresh or dried, as much as you want).
  • 1 spoon chia seeds (hindi : sabja , after soaking in water ).
  • Coconut water. (To blend, if coconut water is unavailable you can use cold milk or yoghurt).


  • Cut the fruits into small pieces.
  • Blend all the above ingredients using coconut water. If coconut water id not available, use cold milk or yoghurt.
  • And there you are, your biotin shake is ready.

You can garnish it with chia seeds ( sabja ) and strawberries.


Have this juice fresh. Better do not store it for a long time.
This juice tastes as one of the best milk shakes ever. Have this for breakfast for atleast twice a week. Have this biotin shake regularly for 2 months atleast to experience the difference. The biotin supplements/pills also takes 2-3 months to show the results. Though,this biotin shake is super yummy and does not have any side effects like the biotin supplements.
